Become a Professional SEO Consultant.

y name is Kevin John Lewis, I'm an Search Engine Optimisation consultant (or Search Engine Optimization consultant if you're in the US) SEO consultant for short. I help small to medium businesses to increase their sales, by working to increase the quantity & quality of targeted traffic to their websites.

Type my name into google, or 'uk seo consultant' 'best uk seo consultant' 'real seo consultant' and many other keywords including 'the coolest guy on the planet' (long story) and you'll find my website.

You may expect an SEO consultant with over 12 years web marketing experience to have such positions - but what you may not expect, is that my website has only been online since the end of October 2008! So I've acheived these kinds of positions with a brand new site with no backlinks, starting from scratch.

I stopped promoting my services to new clients back in 2005, and continued to promote my own businesses, and a handful of my key clients. Then towards the end of last year, only a few months ago, I decided to open up for new clients once again - this is when I created this website

Within this time I have had great successes with my new clients, but what I wasn't prepared for was just how much opportunity there now is, for REAL & effective SEO consultants to profit by helping small businesses increase their sales.

At first I wasn't quite sure why I had hit the ground running so hard, with referrals & new clients coming faster than ever before, but after a bit of pondering, I realized what had happened.

Reason 1 - SEO Scams.

If you see my SEO scams page, you'll see all the information I give about fake SEO companies. These people have been running amuck for the past 5 years, taking as much money as possible with little or no true value in return. I'm not calling other SEO firms & consultants scammers - I have a great deal of respect for other SEO consultants, but I'm referring here to fake SEO companies, those who are purposely obtaining money by deception by pretending to offer SEO services which they just do not offer!

It's strange how things turn around - you see in 2005 when I stopped offering my services, and took down my website, one of the main reasons for this was that anyone who contacted me about SEO had already been contacted by the SEO scammers.

They were prolific at this time, and they were really beating the heck out of the yellow pages, cold calling & emailing making offers which seemed far too good to be true - and were!

I just got sick to the back teeth of trying to convince people that they were being scammed, no one wanted to listen, they preferred to believe the piped-dream they had been sold by the company that had cold called or spam emailed them.

What I didn't realise, is that in the few years that I was not taking on new clients, things were changing.

So many people were getting their fingers burned with the SEO scams, that things had turned around, people have become a lot more streetwise in general, and as a result most potential clients are looking for REAL seo consultants, and are no longer interested in pie in the sky promises that are far too good to be true, they just want to work with real search engine optimization experts, to gain the best possible results with their websites.

So this is the first reason that the opportunity for REAL SEO consultants is now so immense.

Reason 2 - Recession.

Recession, what recession?

While I've seen real evidence this apparent global meltdown with some of my other businesses, the complete opposite is true with my SEO services. Why?

It's very simple, in economic downturn - and more importantly in FEAR of economic downturn, businesses need to ensure that their marketing works, they need to push their sales forward as much as possible - if they sit back & let things go as normal, they know that there is a good chance their business will not survive the recession.

But in times of recession, as well as needing to increase sales, businesses are also looking at reducing costs.

So businesses are starting to look more towards their websites, and realizing that it's about time they turned their websites into the sales generating machines they should be, but have continually put off - or have put off since they had their fingers burned by SEO scammers who took their cash & did nothing whatsoever.

While in the past they may have thought about having their websites properly optimised in order to increase sales, they now have real acute motivation to take action, in the fear of what may happen if they do not pull out all the stops & increase their sales as much as possible.

These seem to be the main factors that are providing such a fantastic opportunity for those SEO consultants who can provide great results.

There are a number of other factors too that are continuing to make SEO such a good industry :

More businesses have websites

There are now more websites than ever before, and it's growing, every business knows now that they must have a website, thousands of new websites are generated every day, which means more potential clients every single day.

Massive new numbers of self employed & small businesses

Thanks to the credit crunch & the recession that has followed, hundreds of thousands of people have been made redundant. Maybe this includes you?

With the prospects of finding new employment in many industries being very slim, large numbers of people are making the decision to start their own small businesses out of necessity.

This means that this year alone there will be hundreds of thousands of new small businesses, most of which will need a website, and will need that website to do well on the search engines.

Pay per click marketing wastes money.

Many people who ran to google adwords & yahoo pay per click marketing for fast results, have come to realise that it's just not affordable for most small businesses, costing thousands in some cases just to identify which keywords are profitable.

I'm not saying pay per click doesn't work, it clearly does & it is a valid method of marketing, but small to medium businesses often realise after spending a considerable amount of money over a period of time, that within this time they've either made a loss, or have broken even.

This is because they usually do not have any idea of what their conversion rate is, what their average profit per sale is & therefore their visitor value. Without knowing this figure, there's a very good chance that they're paying far too much for the traffic.

Day 1

9 AM Start

We will break for lunch, but during lunch you will be able to continue learning by asking questions based on what you have learned so far.

After the main days training is finished, we'll break for an hour and then meet up for dinner, and the SEO training continues in a more informal manner, in the bar, over a few drinks, until whatever time we can both manage.

The evening is a none structured time for you to just be in an environment where you can soak up knowledge, asking any questions which you've come up with - I'll have the laptop with me, so I can answer your questions by showing you, rather than just telling you.

Day 2

We meet at the slightly later time of 9.45 AM, as we'll more than likely of stayed up a bit too long the night before - not just having laughs & drinks, but continuing to discuss SEO until your eyes begin to drop, or until mine do.

Continuing where we left off the day before - but having had the whole evening to talk freely & to ask any questions you needed to, you'll already be starting to feel a lot more kowledgable. Again, we'll go through until lunch time, break for lunch - which is your time again to just ask whatever you want to ask - and then we'll continue again through until 6PM.

Don't worry though - I'll make sure the coffee / tea continues to flow throughout the day, I'll probably need the caffeine in take more than ever on the second day, depending on how long you grilled me for the previous evening!

So that will be the 2 day 1 to 1 training course complete, but it doesn't end there.

At the end of day 2, you'll go back home raring to go - filled with knowledge & enthusiasm - and this is the vest best time to take massive action.

This price covers the course location for anywhere within the UK, including Ireland. You do not have to arrange the course in your own town, just tell me where in the UK you would like the course to be, and I will arrange it.

Outside of the UK?

I will travel to just about anywhere in the world to train you, but there will be an extra charge for my travel costs if travelling outside of the UK.

This doesn't mean you'll have to pay for all of my travel costs, I will always try to arrange at least a few courses in your country at the same time, so I will share the costs amongst the number of courses I can arrange during the same trip.

Ongoing Membership

After the first year, continued yearly membership and ongoing training, support & mentoring is available at £5,000 per year.
