The Weirdest Guy In the Galaxy & The Coolest guy On The Planet…
That’s me, the coolest guy on the planet with Uri Geller - the weirdest guy in the galaxy!
So here I am, a web marketing consultant based in Cheshire in the UK - at the house of one of the most well known people in the world, everyone knows him, he’s had movies written about him, songs, he is friends with all sorts of amazing people - and he is probably one of the most interesting people you could ever meet - why was I there?
Actually, I wasn’t sure I was there at all at one point - about half way through the afternoon I was convinced I was dreaming, literally. I have this thing I do when I’m dreaming, that I look at something, and then look at it again to check that it’s a dream - try it, you look at a car, turn away & then look again & it’s a whale or something, that’s the way dreams are.
So I looked away & looked back, everything was still the same - not dreaming!
The reason I was there, is that Uri invited me!
I’ve known Uri geller for quite some time, but Uri has an incredible schedule, he has a current hit TV series running in several countries called “The Successor, the next Uri Geller” so I was really quite amazed that he took the time out of his busy schedule to see me.
I’m Uri’s SEO consultant, this isn’t how we first began talking though - I was in a band for years, wanted to be a rock star - nearly made it, but not quite - I contacted Uri while we were attempting to get somewhere, I contacted a LOT of people, it’s what you do when you’re trying to get noticed, trying to get help & support from those in a position to do so - but most people don’t respond - Uri did. He asked me to send our CD to him, came up with some idea’s for a new band name, gave me some really good advice & encouragement - and we’ve kept in touch since.
I’d not been in contact for while, as I know how busy he is & there was nothing in particular to contact him about, as the band had split - so I didn’t want to pester him with idle chitchat, but a while ago I contacted him to catch up, and to offer to start working on his website, to increase his search engine traffic -and I became Uri Geller’s SEO consultant.
It’s very interesting - and different! You see, most people I work for are businesses, they want me to increase their sales - with Uri it’s completely different, he’s not motivated by money in any way. Most people would look at Uri Geller, this very experienced entertainer who’s managed to keep himself in the limelight for decades, and assume that he does it for profit - I can categorically state this isn’t the case!
When I started working on Uri’s site, I would come up with idea’s “Uri we need to do this, it will make you money….” and Uri just wasn’t interested, replying that he’s not interested in making money, he wants to help people with his website, with his writing, that’s all. I’ve just come to learn now that there’s no point even suggesting anything to Uri in terms of ways to profit from his website, he’s not in the slightest bit interested.

Me stood in front of Jimmy Page's front door, Uri's Neighbour. If you don't know who Jimmy Page is, you're either too young, or just un-cultured!
This is one of the reasons I’m confident to say that Uri Geller is the weirdest guy in the galaxy! To have the opportunity to make bags of cash - and to just not be interested in it!
But when you get to know Uri you realise that he’s not about money - yeah he’s wealthy, but he actually made most of his wealth in the 70’s dowsing for oil & gold (read the Uri Geller books free online for more info) what he does now he does for much stronger motives than money - in fact he never touches the stuff…
Just to give you a pointer as to what he IS about - I’m sat in Uri Gellers (fantastic!!) house, with Uri, Shippi his brother in law, and my mum (Uri also invited my wife & children, but it was a bit too much of a long journey on one day, so we’ll take them next time), drinking cappuccino, it’s a sunday afternoon - Uri’s blackberry beeps, he has an email - a kid from somewhere in africa emails Uri telling him he loves him, see’s him as an idol & wants to be able to do the kind of thinks Uri does.
So, Uri - straight away - replies to this young guy, telling him to focus at school, to beleive in himself & be optimistic, to never touch drugs, and to look after himself, and then makes a comment that he gets these kinds of emails all the time, and he always replies with positive messages.
I know that he does this, he replies to messages like this all the time - and even phones people to give them a bit of a pep talk if he thinks they need it. this is complete strangers - how many celebs can you imagine receiving an email from someone who’s really down in the dumps & asking for advice, replying asking for a phone number & then phoning them to give them a boost in their own self esteem? Not many!!
One thing that made me giggle straight away - was the size of uri’s teaspoons, they must be about three quarters of an inch thick! When I asked him was this so he didn’t bend them when he’s making a coffee - he replied that this was the case.

OK - maybe I'm not the coolest guy Uri geller Knows ;-)... Uri with John Lennon!
A bit later on he bent a spoon for us - completely blowing out of the water any trace of an idea I had in my head that there was any possibility that this was some kind of a trick - trust me, it’s no trick!
He held the spoon in front of us, rubbed it gently, it began to bend - he put the spoon down, we watched it as it continued to bend while he wasn’t even touching it - I’d love to know how anyone could possibly fake that!!?
Uri is genuine, you don’t need to take my word for it - Uri has been investigated by scientists, such as the Stanford Research Institute, if you ever have any doubt about the truth behind Uri’s abilities, be careful about listening to the cynics, most of them have their own motives, instead just go & watch the video’s of the controlled scientific research done on him by Stanford, and other scientists - you’ll conclude that there’s literally no way he could cheat.
I have other reasons to know there’s something paranormal about Uri Geller, apart from the fact I’ve watched him bending spoons with my own eyes, seen seeds sprout in his hands, seen him making watches work….
For an idea of what I’m talking about, read his books online from his website, if you thought Uri was interesting, you’ve seen nothing until you read his story - the bent spoons are just the tip of the iceberg!

I can only agree with every single word Kevin has said about Uri.He’s an amazing & lovely man. His optimism & energy affected me in a way that I have no explanation for, so I just call it ‘the Geller effect’…& several weeks later I still feel the same - I don’t think the Geller effect wears off…! Uri actually cares, cares about people he doesn’t know, cares about a complete stranger in Africa & immediately replies to his email..& this is in a largely uncaring world..very refreshing I have to say…! And it was amazing to watch that spoon bend…Uri was hardly touching it, & it continued to bend after he’d put it down…but Uri is much, much more than spoons, I recommend that you read his brilliant books. Uri gave me his ‘little book of mind power’ (autographed of course & he drew me a picture in it… :-)an inspiring little book which now goes absolutely everywhere with me. We spent an amazing afternoon with Uri & his Brother-in-Law Shippi. It was so kind of him to invite us down & to make us feel so welcome. I felt quite nervous as we approached his door, I was about to meet a celeb I’d been a fan of for many years, but as soon as Uri opened his door it was like meeting up with an old friend. Thanks Uri….you are a star.

Uri Geller is a legend.
I don’t care what the skeptics say, they use him to try to get a name for themselves - the truth is he was tested, by scientists, by governments - if he managed to pull the wool over their eyes & he can’t really do this stuff, that makes him one of the most clever people ever! Either way, he deserves a lot of respect.
Plus, as an entertainer, he’s amazing - as a promoter of positivity & self belief, he’s amazing - what is there not to like about him?
The cynics are just jelous!

It’s not just that these skeptics are jealous, they also make money / fame from getting against Uri Geller.
In fact, James Randi’s career was built around trying to debunk Uri Geller, trying to make out he’s a fake & that he’s doing it for other motives - isn’t it funny then that it’s the James Randi website that is actively trying to make money by asking for paypal donations!!
So he built a business around trying to debunk Uri Geller & then other people who have gifts - and calls himself a “not for profit organization” which means he’s trying to make out it’s a charity, when it’s nothing of the sort!!
Uri Geller has added to the world in a number of ways, he’s made people believe in themselves, he’s spread positivity, peace - he’s personally helped a lot of people. What have people like Randi done, other than have a pop at other folk?
